Beni’s “My Love Sees You” has always been an obsession for me but I never gave the CLASSIXX version (I spent a lot of time with the Harvard Bass one tho, wow) the time it deserved. Last today is “Forrest Gump” off the highly anticipated new album from Digitalism. I’ve been so impressed by the tracks Digitalism has been coming out with over the last couple years, perhaps a bit of a departure from ‘Idealism’ but not as abrupt as everyone seems to be claiming. I think the album is excellent, this song is an example of the more prominent ‘band’ aspect they’ve got going, well done.
Don’t know how these tracks ended up on my playlist one day, sure didn’t know about the addictive properties the quick mashes Dublin Aunts edits’ possess. Mixing some of the best in slow disco with the more mainstream tracks of the world, they’ve managed to keep the integrity of both tracks and create a very fun sound for all.

Broke One has just released his Stop Making Sense EP featuring”Go Go Go”, a marching old school steezed house track. Jumping synth lines & a steady kick make up the original & it’s a true burner. The remix package is absolutely spot on, with mixes from Russ Chimes, Treasure Fingers & Evil Nine. All of them are excellent in their own fashion, Mr. Chimes going with an even more buzzsaw 90′s house sound, Treasure Fingers disco housing hard & Evil Nine jack housing on point.

This was it. This was the moment I lost my mind Saturday, i was on the edge for a while but this just popped me over the edge. Good ol dubFrequency went and droppped this one from CSLSX at the start of their set and it was all over. Absolute mind control this track has, such a lush one

This isn’t just another bedroom burnout project, bloke is seriously skilled. As he puts it, his game is “Sequencing synths and playing drums in the middle of the dancefloor. With a vocoder.”
“Professional Show Business Pt. I” features two original songs plus edits by Moullinex and Zimmer. They are not remixes, instead Disco Texas asked them for edits (or re-edits or remodels…) of the songs having the dancefloor in mind and without moving far away from the originals.
My favorite is definitely the Zimmer edit
The second part will be released late June, featuring two original songs more, an edit by Justin Faust and a remix by the winner of the contest the label launched for the track “Come To My Senses”.
