VHS or Beta have released yet another stellar album, titled “Diamonds and Death”, with a sound jumping up and down half between Cut Copy and Azari & III. They were one of the first electronic acts I got into years ago and I’m stoked to see them going strong. One of my favorite tracks off the album is “All Summer In A Day”, check it below!
Seems like the boys from The Aston Shuffle just came out with their pushin album “Seventeen Past Midnight” but they are already back at it with an excellent bounding single by the name of “Won’t Get Lost”. epic track here..hopin to see a remix package too! Grab the single 9/19/11
Summer never stops. Lets just put that out there first. It never stops and no matter how nippy it gets out there we still all keep charging like its july. That said, as the days start backin off and myrts start deciding what not to wear on halloween it’s fair to atleast salute the slight change of guard here in southern california.
Last weekend was the last official No Shirt/No Shoes party of the summer (but don’t sleep on The Encore) and it was another macking day. All the mates were out in full effect and the deesco going. NS/NS party hound Bixel Boys have somehow found the time to put together another one of their famous mixes for us all to sit back and relish. Enjoy your trip on The Surfliner everyone

Back in early August I shared with all of you a glimpse of what was sure to be one of the catchiest tracks of the summer, Kamp!’s brilliant “Cairo”. The official ep still isn’t released until 9/9, but go ahead and drop these remixes poolside wherever you are today and soak in the last days of summer. If you’re down OZ way, welcome to spring. JBAG & Moullinex bring on the perfect vibe for both occasions.
